Thank you for this information. As it relates to sugar, I agree with
your statement “ due to modern food science it has become a monster that is destroying the health of the whole world.” Speaking of food science, there is growing evidence that’s reflected in a number of studies that show that there is an association between consuming sugar-sweetened drinks, and weight gain in children and adolescents http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/content/full/84/2/274 Childhood obesity is a serious problem in Unites States! According to the World Health Organization, “in 2007, an estimated 22 million children under the age of 5 years were overweight throughout the world. “
So we have this worldwide consumption of sugar sweetened drinks, sugar sweetened foods, mixed with sugar sweetened marketing tactics via the media . Yes, we are indeed fighting a sugar conspiracy!!
This Information was very powerful. I have know that sugar and high fructose corn surup was bad but wow, its poison. I will get down to eliminating it from my diet even more. I will ask my wife to count the grams in our meals. Thank you for this post Doc. Its an eye opener!
