Is Astrology True?

I once asked that question of the Hon Elijah Muhammad. His answer (paraphrased): "Astrology was once true, but the modern astrologers have lost the key to prediction, so today, astrology is only 3% true and 3% is not enough to be concerned with." Now some modern scientists have proven that in principle astrology has some validity. Who has the lost key that unlocks its truth?
Principle of astrology proven to be scientific:
planetary position imprints biological clocks of mammals

Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/030698_astrology_scientific_basis.html#ixzz17wIrbxxZ
NaturalNews) Mention the word "astrology" and skeptics go into an epileptic fit. The idea that someone's personality could be imprinted at birth according to the position of the sun, moon and planets has long been derided as "quackery" by the so-called "scientific" community which resists any notion based on holistic connections between individuals and the cosmos.

According to the conventional view, your genes and your parenting determine your personality, and the position of planet Earth at the time of your birth has nothing to do with it.

Then again, conventional scientists don't believe the position of the moon has anything to do with life on Earth, either. They dismiss the wisdom that farmers have known for ages -- that planting seeds or transplanting living plants in harmony with the moon cycles results in higher crop yields. Even the seeds inside humans are strongly influenced by the moon, as menstruation cycles and moon cycles are closely synchronized (28 days, roughly).

Researchers demonstrate scientific principle of astrology

Skeptics must be further bewildered by the new research published in Nature Neuroscience and conducted at Vanderbilt University which unintentionally provides scientific support for the fundamental principle of astrology -- namely, that the position of the planets at your time of birth influences your personality.

In this study, not only did the birth month impact personality; it also resulted in measurable functional changes in the brain.

This study, conducted on mice, showed that mice born in the winter showed a "consistent slowing" of their daytime activity. They were also more susceptible to symptoms that we might call "Seasonal Affective Disorder."

The study was carried out by Professor of Biological Sciences Douglas McMahon, graduate student Chris Ciarleglio, post-doctoral fellow Karen Gamble and two additional undergraduate students, none of whom believe in astrology, apparently. They do, of course, believe in science, which is why all their study findings have been draped in the language of science even though the findings are essentially supporting principles of astrology.

"What is particularly striking about our results is the fact that the imprinting affects both the animal's behavior and the cycling of the neurons in the master biological clock in their brains," said Ciarleglio. This is one of the core principles of astrology: That the position of the planets at the time of your birth (which might be called the "season" of your birth) can actually result in changes in your brain physiology which impact lifelong behavior.

Once again, such an idea sounds preposterous to the scientifically trained, unless of course they discover it for themselves, at which point it's all suddenly very "scientific." Instead of calling it "astrology," they're now referring to it as "seasonal biology."

How to discredit real science

It all reminds me of the discovery of cold fusion in 1989 by Fleishmann and Pons, who were widely ridiculed by the arrogant hot fusion researchers who tried to destroy the credibility (and careers) of cold fusion researchers (http://www.naturalnews.com/025925_c...). After the very idea of "cold fusion" was attacked and demolished by these arrogant scientists, it soon returned under a new name: Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR).

LENR has now been verified as true by none other than the U.S. Navy -- along with hundreds of other researchers around the world (see link above). And yet, even today, the conventional scientific community still insists cold fusion doesn't exist and cold fusion researchers are frauds.

Just as there is a solid scientific basis for LENR, there is a scientific basis for astrology, too. The relationship between the Earth, Moon and Sun naturally alter light exposure, temperature, gravitational pull and other conditions that may be sensed by living organisms. To believe in astrology, all that's really required is to grasp the basic concepts of the interrelationships between all living things. Does the position of the sun or moon influence life on Earth? Of course it does: Life as we know it wouldn't even exist without the moon tugging on Earth and preventing its rotational axis from shifting around to the point where radical changes in seasonal temperatures would make life far more challenging. (The moon, in other words, is one of the key "stabilizers" of life on planet Earth because it tends to stabilize the seasons and keep the Earth on a steady rotational plane.)

None of this, of course, means that the position of Saturn today is going to make you win the lottery or find a new love. That's the tabloid version of astrology, not real astrology.

Don't confuse tabloid astrology with real astrology

Even astronomy has its tabloid versions, too, which are entirely non-scientific. For example, every model of our solar system that I've ever seen is a wildly inaccurate tabloid version of reality, with planet sizes ridiculously exaggerated and planet distances not depicted to scale. These silly, non-scientific solar system models imprint a kind of solar system mythology into the minds of schoolchildren and even school teachers. Virtually no one outside the communities of astrophysics and astronomy has any real grasp of the enormity of not merely our solar system, but of our galaxy and the space between neighboring galaxies.

To show a giant sun the size of a basketball, with a depiction of the Earth as a marble-sized planet three inches away is the astronomical equivalent of a gimmicky horoscope claiming you're going to win the lottery today because you were born under the sign of Pisces. Both are fictions. And both are an insult to real science.

In fact, even the whole idea that an "electron" is a piece of physical matter, made up of other "particles" is an insult to real science. The sobering truth of the matter is that "particle physics" doesn't have much to do with actual particles at all. It's all about energies that might, on occasion, vibrate in just the right way so that they momentarily appear to take on the illusion of a particle as measured by our observers -- observers who inevitably alter the outcome of the entire experiment, by the way, once again proving the interrelated nature of things in our universe, including observer and experiment.

The horoscope predictions in the Sunday paper -- as well as much of the hilarious mythology found in the modern description of an atom -- are both simplified, comic-book versions of a larger truth -- the truth that we live in a holistic universe where every bit of physical matter, every bit of energy and every conscious mind impacts the rest of the universe in subtle ways. There is no such thing as an individual who is isolated from the cosmos, because we are of the cosmos and we exist as the physical manifestations of energies that, for our lifetimes, are momentarily organized as beings.

We are made of star stuff, says Carl Sagan. He he's right: We are not only made of star stuff, we are influenced by that stuff, too. And finally, modern science is beginning to catch up to this greater truth that astrologers have known since the dawn of human existence on our tiny planet.

"Mark of the Beast" VeriChip Technology Is Real

First let me apologize to all the people who in the past insisted that they had been implanted with some electronic devise... I thought they were all crazy! And some of them were, but not all... Here's proof that they weren't. Anyone who has had any surgery or any strange encounter should check to see if something may have been implanted. The FDA ruled that VeriChip is not a medical devise that they need to regulate. It's in private hands for anyone who wants to use it.

Bob Boyce's un-requested VeriChip and associated tumor removed

Boyce finally had the second VeriChip implant removed yesterday along with the associated tumor. This time the surgical staff documented the implant with photos, and the surgeon placed the "foreign body" in a specimen container and sealed it to establish chain of custody evidence.

A second VeriChip microchip implant was removed yesterday from Bob Boyce's shoulder, which was placed there without his knowledge or consent. The blue color is from a dye that pinpoints cancerous cells, which are not uncommon to form along with VeriChip implants (ref).

The VeriChip "foreign body" was placed in a specimen container and sealed by the surgeon.

Last year we reported that Bob Boyce, the highly-revered inventor of ultra-efficient electrolysis systems and of a self-charging battery circuit (harnessing energy from the environment, possibly from zero point energy), had contracted terminal cancer and that the originating point was a VeriChip microchip that someone implanted in his right shoulder without his knowledge or permission.

He had a chip removed, but it turned out that another chip was still in there, implanted deeper, as confirmed by an X-ray.

He's lived with that one for a year, but finally had it removed yesterday at the Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

The Fannin surgical staff took photos as the chip was removed from the tissue and placed in a specimen container, labeled "foreign body", and sealed by the surgeon. The blue color of the tissue is from a dye that was injected to mark cancerous cells.

Such chips have been documented to sometimes instigate tumors where they are implanted (ref), as was the case with Boyce (ref).

Boyce posted photos of the process on his website, along with the comment:

Some have said that this VeriChip was a figment of my imagination. Well, this "imaginary" VeriChip removal was documented on film by surgical staff.

The first time Boyce noticed what turned out to be the first of two chips was in early April, 2009 when he was working with a former associate, Bob Potchen, of Precombustion Technologies Inc. (PTI), now "The Cell", who he first met in July of 2008. Potchen, formerly with NSA, was implementing Boyce's hydroxy gas booster technology into a product to take to market. Their relationship had been growing tense, and Boyce was preparing to depart.

After drinking a "refreshment" drink Potchen provided, Boyce had fallen asleep at a desk at PTI's office, pulling an all-nighter. When he awoke, his right shoulder felt like it had been numbed; and when he rubbed it, he noticed a small, hard lump there. Having recently had some benign skin cancer removed, he assumed it was just another tumor, and thought no more of it, until the skin turned red and his shoulder became very sore many months later.

Back at his own lab, he noticed that his shoulder was "transmitting" RF radiation. Then, when he had the tumor that formed there removed, he looked at the small-grain-of-rice-sized microchip before the doctor took the tissue away to be examined by pathology. He then researched various companies that manufacture implantable microchips, and he saw that the chip that had been removed from his shoulder matched the chip design by VeriChip. In particular, there is a thin, white rubber-like coating on one end that the tissue grows to so the chip won't migrate. The pathology report did not mention the chip.

Due to the politics of the situation, Boyce has had a hard time finding a surgeon to remove the chip and document its removal. This time around, Boyce wanted to make sure there was proper legal "chain of custody" when the second chip was removed, as certified by the surgeon when placed in a specimen container, which was sealed, labeled, dated, and signed by the surgeon.

The reason for Boyce's falling out was that Potchen, who is former Military Intelligence, had been making modifications to the hydroxy-generating device that Boyce said were reducing the cell's efficiency. Prior to those modifications, the cell was producing great results when installed in test vehicles. In one case, the mileage of a truck increased from 5.5 mpg to 11.7 mpg – more than double.

Boyce described a number of modifications that Potchen made in the name of making the cell cheaper to produce, but which significantly worked against the efficiency. "It's as if he was intentionally sabotaging the system to discredit the field."

Boyce withdrew his endorsement of Potchen's device and published his concerns to some hydroxy forums.

The saga from there is long and drawn-out and still ongoing. This is the latest installation.

Ironically, Boyce's operation yesterday was exactly one year after we posted a story: Boyce chip implanter suspect identified.

The following photos were taken by the surgeon's staff. The VeriChip (called "foreign body" for political reasons) was removed from the tissue (made blue from the dyes used to identify cancerous tissue) and placed in a specimen container and sealed by the surgeon. Part of the problem with the fuzzy resolution is that these are photos of photos taken by the staff. Bob has these posted on his site at http://www.bobboyce.org/cancer.htm The following links are for enlarged photos. The descriptions are as given by Bob.

IM001967.jpg - The surgeon uses tweezers to grasp the VeriChip imbedded in the center of the tumor.

IM001968.jpg - The surgeon begins to extract the Verichip from the tumor.

IM001969.jpg - The surgeon holds the extracted VeriChip next to the tumor.

IM001971.jpg - The extracted VeriChip is placed into a specimen container.

I don't recommend looking at these photos while eating, which is what I was doing this afternoon when I first looked at them.

Eating the Rainbow!

Corporate control of the food chain has meant the loss of food diversity. Some corporate bigwig decides what variety of carrot or mushroom or apple is the best one and that is all lthe consumer will ever see. We don't even remember when vegetables and fruits came in many differenct formas and colors. Yellow watermaelon and caulifoloweer are almost unknown today, but were onece quite common.

NaturalNews) Carrots provide a lot more nutritional and medicinal value than we realise. The purple carrot is a lot less widely known than its orange relation, yet it offers just as many, if not more, benefits than the orange variety.

Purple carrots are even higher in antioxidants than orange carrots, and they also possess anti-inflammatory properties. This could make them very useful in the treatment of arthritis. They have been found to be antiviral, antiseptic and antimicrobial, and they also contain anticarcinogens and betacarotenes. They also contain phytochemicals including carotenoids, polyacetylenes, isocoumarins, phenolics and sesquiterpenes. Phytochemicals have antioxidant, anti-bacterial, and other disease preventative and health enhancing properties.

Anticarcinogens help to reduce the risk of cancer and also help to fight against any already-present cancer cells in our bodies. Purple carrots are also excellent at fighting against viral as well as bacterial infections, such as flu, measles and internal infections of the urinary tract, mouth and stomach. Prevent cancer and start drinking your purple carrot juice as often as possible.

Purple carrots contain high doses of Vitamin A, which helps to prevent clogging of the arteries and thus helps to prevent strokes. Along with that, they also contain vitamin B, C and E as well as calcium pectate, which is a very good source of fibre, and they help to lower cholesterol levels. They are also very useful in the prevention of macular degeneration.

They are known to nourish the hair, skin and nails, and they also greatly enhance the quality of breast milk. They also contain a form of calcium which is more easily digested by our bodies than many other sources. The roots of carrots have long been used in treating intestinal parasites, indigestion, tonsil issues and constipation. In ancient times, they were used as a medicine to treat virtually anything. Even the carrot greens contain vitamin K, which is not present in the rest of the carrot.

In studies done at Queensland University, it was shown that purple carrot juice is able to lower blood pressure, stabilise blood sugar, and assist in fighting against liver and heart disease.

Free Food- Just Roll Up Your Sleeve!

Microwaved Foods Cause Cancer

What's wrong with the plant on the left may be what's wrong with you. You're full of microwaved food and water and its killing you. Now the evidence is in- microwaved food causes cancer. You thought you were just zapping the food and, instead, you were really zapping yourself. You are what you eat, zapped or not.
Thou shall not zap!

Evidence that Microwaved Foods Cause Cancer
NaturalNews) Unbiased research has produced evidence that eating microwaved food is an invitation for cancer. Those research results are usually banned or overturned and ignored for the sake of business as usual for the microwave oven manufacturers. After all, the masses of convenience oriented consumers have created quite a lucrative demand.
Early warnings against microwaving mostly involved warming baby`s formula or stored mother`s breast milk. In 1992,Stanford research discovered that microwaving formula at low heat destroyed most of the nutrients. Furthermore, the researchers were shocked to find that over 90% of the disease protecting agents in mother`s breast milk were eliminated by microwave warming.
Russia`s Research
From 1957, Russia had conducted testing on radar microwave emissions and microwave oven cooking. The scientific conclusions resulted in emission restrictions for radar workers and a ban on microwave ovens in 1976.
The microwave industry has made their ovens relatively emission proof to humans operating the ovens. But the Russians tested food cooked in microwave ovens and found an incredible array of nutrient destruction accompanied by the creation of cancer causing agents.
Their thorough research, laboratory, clinical, and epidemiological, spanned almost two decades. USA researcher William Kopp published those findings, emphasizing the cancer causing aspects of microwave cooked foods. He was ridiculed and marginalized by American mainstream science.
All for naught. The Russian ban was lifted during Perestroika, which foisted "free market" principles over health in Russia. This created a greatly expanded market for microwave ovens though. Ka-ching!
It`s the Blood, Stupid
In 1991, a lawsuit was filed in Oklahoma on behalf of a woman, Norma Levitt, who died after a simple blood transfusion for a hip operation. It`s normal for the administered blood to be warmed, but not in a microwave oven. That time it was, and the patient died almost immediately after the transfusion.
In 1992, Swiss scientist Hans Hertel, assisted by Bernard Blanc, conducted a very thorough study on eight healthy human volunteers in their 20s and 30s. The study included raw milk and pasteurized milk and frozen and fresh vegetables. The foods were all consumed raw, cooked normally, and microwaved.
Before and after each meal, their blood was tested. Nutrient damage well beyond normal cooking was present in their blood after consuming microwave cooked food, with abnormalities paralleling the findings of earlier Russian studies. Hertel concluded that technologically induced energy damage can be passed on to humans with microwaved food in addition to direct microwave emissions.
The blood samples from test subjects who had consumed microwaved foods demonstrated decreased lymphocytes (white blood cells) and decreased haemoglobin and cholesterol values, combined with increased luminescence or energy of luminescent bacteria (defined in PubMed source below).

Decreased haemoglobin results in less oxygen for cells, substituting anaerobic glucose fermentation for cellular energy. This condition, plus microwave cooking`s production of carcinogenic compounds creates cancer.

Truth Not Be Known
The two Swiss scientists published their findings and were quickly sued. A trade organization persuaded the court to issue a vicious gag order on their findings.
Blanc was so intimidated he recanted, but Hertel stood his ground. In 1998, his appeal was honored by the court`s lifting the gag order and awarding Hans Hertel with 40,000 francs from the Swiss government. Independent journalist Tom Valentine covered this saga completely.

Many scientists scoff at cellular damage and cancerous conditions from microwave cooking without analyzing these and other blood and food tests, or conducting their own! Their denial is typical of all sold out or unconcerned pseudo scientists.

The obvious truth is that nutrition is the life of us. Without nutrition we would be dead. Therefore is it really surprising that the right nutrition at the right moment can literally give life to the dead? Of course its a miracle, life itself is miraculous, but the miracle of life is all about nutrition. This is a powerful video. Enjoy.

Food Safety Bill 'Dead In the Water'

Even though S510, the so-called food safety bill passed both houses of the Congress, it still may not become law due to a procedural snafu! Somebody, in their haste to ram the bill through, overlooked, slipped up and violated House rules, so the votes don't mean anything and S510 is dead in the water and will have to be taken up in the next Congress, if ever. We should now redouble our efforts to let Congress know, we don't want what the big food giants want. We want the unrestricted right to grow, sell and distribute our own food - period!

S.510 may be dead in the water

(NaturalNews) It is now being revealed that US Senators slipped up in a big way when passing the Food Safety Modernization Act on Tuesday: They added what are effectively "new taxes" into the bill, and according to the U.S. Constitution, only the House of Representatives can initiate legislation requiring new taxes.

Thus, the House is now obliged to give this food safety legislation the so-called "blue slip," meaning that it rejects the law and sends it back to the Senate for yet another vote. This would take time and effort, of course, and the Democrats have very little of either remaining in their lame duck session.

As explained on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_slip):

"This blue-slipping procedure, done by an order of the House, is routinely completed to enforce its interpretation that the House is the sole body to introduce revenue or appropriations legislation. The failure of the House to consider the legislation means it cannot become a law. This tactic has historically proven to be of great use to the House and, as a practical matter, the Senate does not introduce tax or revenue measures to avoid a blue slip."

In other words, the House wants to remain the sole originator of all new taxes and will therefore need to "blue slip" S.510 in order to slap the hands of Senators who are trying to enact their own new taxes under the bill.

The upshot of this is that this fight is not yet over. Unless the House makes an unprecedented exception to this blue slip rule, this legislation will apparently need to go back to the Senate floor for another vote.

This story was first reported by RollCall.com (http://www.rollcall.com/news/-20101...) which says, "The debacle could prove to be a major embarrassment for Senate Democrats, who sought Tuesday to make the relatively unknown bill a major political issue by sending out numerous news releases trumpeting its passage." (http://www.rollcall.com/news/-20101...)

According to Roll Call, "The blue slip could lead to one of two likely outcomes. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) could simply drop the issue and let the next session of Congress start from scratch..."

"Or he could try to force the issue in the Senate after the House passes a new version of the bill. But in order to do that and still tackle the other issues, he would need a unanimous consent agreement to limit debate."

But unanimous consent is impossible thanks to the heroic efforts of Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla) who has stood firm on his belief that this bill is too large, too expensive and puts too much of a burden on American farmers.

If this assessment is correct, it looks like S.510 is now dead in the water and cannot be resurrected until the next session of Congress in which there will be far fewer Democrats (there was not a single Democrat in the US Senate who opposed the bill). (http://www.naturalnews.com/030577_S...)

Top ten lies about Senate Bill 510
