Seasonal Flu Vaccine Increased Swine Flu Risk by 68%!

Anybody who got the seasonal flu vaccine in 2009 increased their chances of getting the pandemic swine flu by a whopping 68% according to Canadian researchers!
This, according to them, means next year you've got to double up and get both the seasonal flu shot and the pandemic swine flu.

This is how the data gets 'fudged' to increase income to the big drug and vaccine makers. Isn't it amazing how they never lose?
Oh, you know what?
They failed to mention that the seasonal flu vaccine doesn't work anyhow!
So, just in case you're confused here's what you have to do-
Get the seasonal flu vaccine even though it doesn't work, but since in will increase your chances of getting the swine flu by 68%, make sure you get that one too, that way the pharmaceuticals will earn maximum profits and their CEO's will get a bonus! Got it? Prove it by rolling up your sleeve.

Did 'Regular' Flu Shot Up Risks for H1N1 Flu?
Those who got seasonal vaccine were at higher risk, study found, but that shouldn't affect immunization next season

TUESDAY, April 6 (HealthDay News) The traditional seasonal flu vaccine may have increased the risk of
infection with pandemic H1N1 swine flu, according to the results of four new studies by Canadian researchers.
dblclick('xxlA');

In one study, the researchers used an ongoing sentinel monitoring system to assess the frequency of prior vaccination with the seasonal flu vaccine in people diagnosed with H1N1 swine flu in 2009 compared to people without swine flu. The researchers found that seasonal flu vaccination was associated with a 68 percent increased risk of getting swine flu.
The other three studies included additional case-control investigations in Ontario and Quebec, as well as a transmission study in 47 Quebec households that were hit with swine flu. In these studies, the researchers found that seasonal flu vaccination was associated with a 1.4- to 5.0-times greater risk of having swine flu.
The studies, published April 6 in the online journal PLoS
Medicine, don't show whether there is a true cause-and-effect relationship between seasonal flu vaccination and subsequent swine flu illness, or whether the association was possibly due to a common factor among the people in the study, said principal investigator Danuta Skowronski, of the British Columbia Center for Disease Control in Vancouver, and colleagues.
However, the findings may raise questions about the biological interactions between pre-existing and new pandemic
influenza strains.
The researchers noted that the World Health Organization has recommended that protection against pandemic swine flu be included in future seasonal flu vaccines. This will provide direct protection against pandemic swine flu and eliminate any risk that may have been due to the 2009 seasonal vaccine, which did not include protection against swine flu.

CDC Claims 57 Million Flu Cases - Huh?

Don't forget, the CDC under the direction of WHO stopped the laboratory confirmation of flu cases in the middle of the 'great swine flu pandemic of 2009' back in July! That means all reports of 'swine flu cases' have no scientific basis since that time. It's like playing tennis without a net - it's easier to win that way - there is no standard to meet.

At the same time, the CDC is ignoring the the two deadly mutations of the H1N1 that have occurred around the world which seem to be responsible for the majority of the fatal cases.

So why is the CDC acting so stupid?

Maybe they have flu on the brain - or it's all about ensuring profits for the big drug makers who are shipping the millions of unused flu vaccines over seas to third world countries.

These vaccines going to Africa and elsewhere will be labeled 'foreign aid' but all the money will go to the pharmaceutical companies which are, as we know, too big to fail - even at math.

CDC Claims 57 million Swine Flu Cases - Where's the Proof?

By William Campbell Douglas MD

CDC fails at math The feds are still squealing over swine flu -- but no matter how loud they oink, their numbers just don't add up. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention declared that 57 million Americans have come down with swine flu -- and their media lap dogs (or are they now pigs?) just ate it up. I saw that big number repeated in headlines everywhere as if that were a fact and not a completely made-up number. Oink, oink. But that's just what it is -- a story as true as those Babe the Pig movies. If someone can prove to me that 57 million Americans actually came down with swine flu, I'll trade my lab coat for overalls and take up hog farming. I mean it... but it's not going to happen. The truth is, no one knows how many swine flu cases there were, not even the math whizzes at the CDC. That 57 million figure is just the midpoint of a massive estimate range that claims up to 84 million Americans may have had swine flu. They may as well say it was between 1 and 300 million. Remember, the feds stopped counting swine flu cases in July -- they actually told state and local health authorities to stop testing for it and stop tracking it. It's better than burning evidence -- because they prevented the evidence from ever existing in the first place. Now, they can throw around any number they want without having to worry that the truth might someday come out and squeal on them. All we know for certain -- and this is based on real data from the CDC and state health departments -- is that only a tiny fraction of the suspected H1N1 cases that were sent to labs for confirmation actually turned out to be swine flu, or even any kind of flu at all. Most people just had a bad cold. Yet the feds keep pushing this myth that Americans should STILL rush out and get swine flu shots... hinting darkly at the possibility of a "third wave." If it's as "bad" as the first or second wave, you can safely keep your sleeve down... because this undercooked bacon is already cold.

Swine Flu Virus Has Mutated in Ukraine

The gene sequences from Ukraine have been released by WHO and are showing that there has been genetic mutation of H1N1, probably on the basis of reassortment. The specific change in gene sequence is the D225G and was recoverd from both lung and throat samples of cases that ended in death. These changes show the development in the H1N1 swine flu the ability to selectivly infect lung tissue causing a massive immune response called 'cytokine storm'. It is the cytokine storm that actually destroys lung tissue and causes death. Cytokine storm is more likely in younger healthy patients who are able to mount a strong immune response, that in fact is too strong. If these changes are the result of reassortment, ie, mixing of different viruses, this may be very disturbing because widespread vaccination has created the perfect background scenario for the wholesale mixing of many differenct viruses within individuals. Isolates from different parts of the world have shown similar changes making it clear that the genie is already out of the bottle.

H1N1 Nightmare Scenario Now Possible

The following report from Dr Henry Niman of Recombinomics is the most up to date information on the evolution of the H1N1 Pandemic that is sweeping the world.

Now comes this: H1N1 has jumped multiple species barriers!

Why is that big news- big scarey news? Because normally, viruses that cause the flu are species specific. They do not infect many different types of animals along with humans. They usually stay put within one species.

That is good because if they jump into another species, then all of the viruses normally found in that other speices have a chance to mix or recombine into another virus that is altogether new. A new virus that now shares some or all of the characteristics of all of the viruses involved in the mix.

My nightmare scenario has always been:

What would happen if you mixed H1N1 with H5N1?

H5N1 is the bird flu and is endemic among all birds on this planet. This means that practically 100% of all birds carry this virus, which does not make them sick. They just carry it.

But!-occasionally the H5N1 will jump into a human host and cause a severe infection that is about 60% fatal! Fortunately, the H5N1 in a human is not easily transmitted to another human, so it does not spread to cause an epidemic of H5N1. Whew!

Wait- not so fast. What would happen if you got H5N1 and H1N1 present at the same time in either a bird or human being? Would those two viruses mix?

And what would the resulting mixed virus be like?

Here's the nightmare scenario:

The new hybrid mixed virus could have the high kill rate of H5N1 and the easy transmisibility from human to human of H1N1.

Now you have a killer virus on the loose all over the planet that in all likelihood would out do the 1918 'Spanish Flu'.

Remember, the 1918 flu killed 100 million world-wide with a mortality rate of only 2%. How many would die if you had a virus with a mortality rate of 60%? In simple terms, a kill rate that is 30 times higher would produce 30 times the deaths.

The simple math is: 100 million X 30 = 3 billion dead people!

Now to be sure- this has not happened yet and may never happen.

This is theoretical and speculative.

But do you see why I call it the nightmare scenario?

Let's now leave the theoretical and the speculative and take a look at the real world evwents unfolding right now in the Ukraine.

We don't know much yet- but -

according to preliminary reports from the Health Ministry there -

a mutated H1N1 virus or an entirely new virus is speading at an exponential rate- doubling daily- with a mortality rate that is 10 times that of the regular H1N1 in the United States!

This is shocking terrifying news.

We must pray that this will all fizzle out and not spread widely. If this goes global, then we have according to the simple math- 1 billion possible deaths!

So, get prepared and stay prepared. We have a long bumpy road ahead. May Allah bless us all to make it through the storm.

H1N1 Jumps to Pets Raise Pandemic Concerns

Recombinomics Commentary 23:23November 7, 2009

As human infections become increasingly widespread, transmission of the virus from humans to swine is likely to occur with greater frequency. In addition, pandemic H1N1 infections have been reported in turkeys in Chile and Canada and in a few pet animals in the USA. Again, these infections were isolated events and pose no special risks to human health. The above comments from the WHO update on H1N1 in farmed animals suggests the infections in turkeys and pets pose no special risks to human health, However, this statement would be true only in the narrowest sense. Pandemic H1N1 is widespread in humans and the vast majority of infections of humans are from virus in other humans. However, the ability of this virus to jump species increases viral interactions that can result in the exchange of genetic information via recombination and reassortment.Transmission to swine has been reported at an increasing frequency. Yesterday a jump to swine in Taiwan was reported and today a jump to swine in Hong Kong was reported. Multiple examples in North and South America, as well as Europe, Asia, and Australia have been reported previously, and as the level of H1N1 in humans increases, the frequency of such jumps will likely increase. However, the pandemic H1N1 is a swine virus, so there have been prior opportunities to acquire genetic information from viruses that co-infect swine. The report of jumps to turkeys however, increased concern that the virus was quite promiscuous and could jump to multiple species. The concerns were increased by two reports of jumps to pet ferrets. Last year a virus from the first reported natural infection in ferrets was found to be an H1N1 classical swine virus. Therefore, a jump of swine H1N1 to pet ferrets was not unexpected. However, these jumps were accompanied by assurances about jumps in other pets, since H1N1 had not been previously reported in cats or dogs. However, the ability of the virus to jump to other mammals was increased by the reports of jumps to avian species , such as the turkeys described above. Moreover, the pandemic H1N1 had a high attack rate. The explosion of cases in the fall was tightly linked to school openings. The virus would quickly spread in schools leading to double digit absenteeism and associated infections of teachers and staff. In schools that had absences in the range of 20-30% for periods of 1-2 weeks attack rates approaching 100%. This high attack rate in schools has also been reported in anecdotal reports of family attack rates of 100%.The high attack rates are facilitate by multiple exposures within a families residence. However, this frequent exposure would also apply to family pets that were kept indoors. The concerns were supported by the recent report of H1N1 in a pet cat. This was the first reported case because of the availability of testing and not due to a unique association / exposures. Concerns that such transfers might be common were supported by anecdotal reports of cats and dogs developing flu-like symptoms following infection in owners and family members. These anecdotal reports suggest that testing of these symptomatic pets will identify a number of such jumps, which raises concerns of interactions with other animal virus. These interactions can lead to rapid evolution, and the proximity and transmissibility of pandemic H1N1 will lead to frequent transmission to humans.Extended surveys of sequences from pet isolates should be a top priority

Four Doctors Dead In Ukraine!

Urgent News Flash

Authorities are expressing the gravest concern over recent explosve events in the Ukraine related to the out break of severe, fatal respiratory illness linked to H1N1 in young adults and health care workers. This is the latest report from Dr Henry Nieman who is tracking the global epidenmic via his web site Recombinomics. This is a rapidly escalating story with monstrous implications for us all. See my previous post just a few minutes ago for background details and why you should be concerned.

H1N1 Doctor Deaths In Ukraine Raise Concerns

November 1, 2009

Four doctors died of flu in Ukraine's Ternopol and Lvov regions, Health Minister Vasily Knyazevich said at the Sunday meeting of the operative headquarters for the prevention and treatment of A/H1N1 flu.The above comments describe the death of four health care workers (HCWs) at two sites in western Ukraine. The government website shows a total of 53 deaths (see map), which is quite low if four HCWs have already died. HCW are trained in methods to minimize infections from patients, and they are likely to get prompt medical attention, yet four have already died. These numbers add to the confusion in Ukraine.Initial reports denied the outbreak was due to H1N1 even though there was virtually no seasonal flu circulating in Europe (or North America). The explosion in cases of acute respiratory illness (ARI), in view of the exploding H1N1 pandemic throughout the northern hemisphere, would signal involvement in the cases in Ukraine. However, even after H1N1 was confirmed in influenza and ARI patients in western Ukraine, Kiev was still maintaining that the cases there were not H1N1, even though 300,000 doses of Tamiflu are scheduled to arrive today, and a WHO investigative team is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The denials of H1N1 in obvious cases raise concerns that the number of fatalities is markedly higher that the 53 acknowledged, especially when 4 of the 53 are HCWs.More details on the HCW deaths and on those hospitalized would be useful.Media Links
